  • Introduction of 1998-1999 race organizers and racers from 20 years ago
  • Welcome by First Nation and government dignitaries and recognition of sponsors
  • Introduction of 2018 teams
  • FREE Klondike Ice Cream bars donated by Save On Foods!!!
  • Start of 20th annual YRQ by sound of SS Klondike bell at 12 noon

So many people are interested in the start of the race! Our sponsors (please come and be thanked!), our racers and their support teams (We’ll be cheering you on), our volunteers (everyone can volunteer to help), the crowd of well-wishers (there will be Klondike ice cream bars donated by Save On Foods).
